Just out of high school, I was ecstatic to earn 15 bucks an hour prancing around in costume. I’ve always considered myself an actor, but I’ve also always been shy. Running around anonymously in a full-body costume was the perfect way to get my acting fill. I wasn’t allowed to talk, and I wasn’t allowed to tell anyone that it was me.
