Three McClellands
March 9th, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Just goofing off at the computer one day. Then dad gets the idea to give a wet willy. House rules: if you get caught you must submit for “the finalization”, a final dose of dominance -hot breath in the victim’s wet ear!

The Shave, a Possibly Offensive Video
February 2nd, 2009 · Leave a Comment
One Rule: No shaving until I’m done remodeling the kitchen. Well enough with the itching, enough with the Yukon Cornelious jokes, enough with the counting of gray hairs. It’s time to shave! Then I figured, “Let’s make a video of it!” ->

Matt and Katie Check in from Georgia
January 27th, 2009 · Leave a Comment
Wow! We’ve had a busy year down here in Georgia! The weather has been erratic and the economy has thrown us, along with everyone else, into lifestyle detox. This year has brought its share of frustrations and worries for our family, but it has also brought joy and we’d like to share that with all our family and friends!

Dusting the Cob-Webs From Turks and Caicos
January 19th, 2009 · Leave a Comment
It’s not that we don’t want to ever forget the once-in-a-lifetime trip that we took to Turks and Caicos last year. (But we don’t.) It’s not that I had already almost forgotten how to spell the name of the destination island in the West Indies and simply needed the practice. (But I had.)
It’s just that today came across a

Kitchen Remodel Update
December 12th, 2008 · Leave a Comment
Just a quick video (2:18) showing the complete chaos of our kitchen and family room after a late night of setting tile on the backsplash. Alternate title: Why I have more gray hairs in my beard this time.
Kramer calls it quits after 133 dog years
November 26th, 2008 · Leave a Comment

The most recent canine in the household of Tom and Gretcen McClelland, Kramer, went through a few months of tough times before dying in November. He had a good life where he was spoiled rotten by his masters. He was well traveled and loved greatly. He was 19 actual years old…and those are human years.
At the end he was deaf, listless, and did his doodies wherever he was situated. He has gone to a better place.
He is survived by fellow mutt Elaine, a sister of sorts. Both dogs were named for characters in the Seinfeld TV series.

Collecting Steins is a Crazy Hobby
October 15th, 2008 · 1 Comment
Collecting anything to the extreme is a mild form of insanity. I ran that statement by a psychiatrist (who happened to be a beer stein collector), and he didn’t disagree. So, if collecting antique drinking vessels is a crazy behavior,

Never have I had a dog who dislikes water so much, but is so willing to take a shower. Maximus loves his showers. Click the photo(s) here to see a larger version.

Life begins at 65 for Gretchen, Party is big surprise
August 24th, 2008 · Leave a Comment
Gretchen, was always the giver and seldom the taker. She had surprised her husband with birthday parties on five occasions. So it was Tom’s turn. Surprises are always much work just to keep it a secret and to get the crowd to attend without giving it away.
On Aug. 25, friends Allan and Marie Stone took the McClellands to the Old Spaghetti Factory in Roseville for a casual dinner. When Gretch got off the elevator at the second floor, she was greeted by 35

State Fair 2008
August 20th, 2008 · Leave a Comment
After skipping the California State Fair at the Cal Expo for two years running, we managed to drag our tired feet through the scalding heat and hit up the event this year. Overall we concluded that we hadn’t missed much in the years that we skipped, but we did get a few good family pic’s for the photo albums.
