Easter weekend can be a long weekend

June 11th, 2006 · Submitted by Steve · 1 Comment ·

Easter weekend can be a long weekend when you pack the kids into the car for a trip to the cabin. Any weekend seems too short when we make the 2 hour drive to Soda Springs on Friday afternoon, unpack, take care of cabin repairs and get the kids settled in for bed. By the time [Read more →]

If you think you’ve seen a lot of snow, check out these albums. I’ve posted a few photos from Easter and from Memorial Day when we had 6 feet and 6 feet, 6 inches respectively. Aren’t you supposed to have picnics on Memorial Day? Last year Emily made $24 selling lemonade. This year she spent the weekend sledding with her brother and cousins. You can see albums on the McClellandfamily.com Photo Albums page.

Our 12th Anniversary

June 11th, 2006 · Submitted by Steve · Leave a Comment ·

Lisa and I hopped into the car last Friday afternoon and headed out of town for our 12th anniversary. As we drove out of the neighborhood, we had no idea where we were going or what we were going to do. We threw some clothes in a bag. I figured Lisa would bring some toothpaste and a hairbrush. She figured [Read more →]

We finally got around to celebrating Lisa’s birthday. I made an effort to find the ultimate present, but was thwarted again and again. Did you know that pet stores don’t sell dogs anymore?

Here’s the poem that I put together at the last minute. Lisa reminded me that the last time I wrote her a poem [Read more →]

Daddy’s note: One day on a drive home, Patrick began spewing forth his views of the universe. This is an account of his version of the Earth, the stars and the planets. I don’t know where he learned it, but I swear that this [Read more →]

Photobooth

If you’ve never played with Apple’s new Photo Booth software I highly recommend it. It’s guaranteed to bring a smile to your face as you distort your own image in live video. It’s hard not to crack up laughing. I put together a quick photo album of the fun we had while visiting the Apple store and while playing on Dad’s new iMac.

New Photo Album Posted (San Diego!)

I’ve posted a photo album on our Photo Albums Page of our trip to San Diego to memorialize my uncle. It was a tragic reason to get the entire family together, but there are some photos there that family will cherish for a lifetime including this one of cousins Gabriella, Emily, Patrick and Marco.
