'Divorce is when mommy and daddy yell at each other then they spread apart. Then they put up a 'for sale' sign in front of the house and they spread farther and farther apart until they can't come back ever again and it's very sad.' (teaching her 4-year old brother)

Margaret Mead (1901-1978) Anthropologist
'When you kiss someone, your heart goes out to them, and when you're done kissing them your heart goes back in.'

Certain is it that there is no kind of affection so purely angelic as of a father to a daughter. In love to our wives there is desire; to our sons, ambition; but to our daughters there is something which there are no words to express.
– Joseph Addison (1672-1719) British Essayist, Poet, Statesman
Steve, I literally was laughing out loud at this! I made my husband and son come in to read it because it’s just so funny! Then I showed Kevin the pictures from the pumpkin patch and your funny Discovery Kingdom cards and Kevin said “I want to be in their family!”
Cheryl, glad you like the post. Sorry I never finished it. I tend to not post the photos of late-night homework sessions or dinner table arguments. Nevertheless, tell Kevin he can be an honorary McClelland Family member whenever he likes. I have two kids I wouldn’t mind swapping out from time to time.
