From the archives of the former Emily’s Corner come these gems to remember…

• I got to go to Disneyland and California Adventure with my mommy and daddy. It was really fun. You can see all the pictures in our L.A. Vacation Album. This was my first time at Disneyland. I want to go again.

• Pink Princess: From the ages of 3 to about 5 I refused to wear anything but the color pink. I screamed bloody murder whenever my parents dressed me in another hue, and then I would forget all about it 5 minutes later.

• I’m pretty smart now that I’m done with first grade. I learned some really important stuff at school. You can see the video of my philosophy.. (Adjust your speaker volume first.) Here’s a picture of me in my choir performance in 1st grade. We did a salute to the USA.

• I made an art album of pictures I colored when I was 4.

• I had a lemonade sale because I had to practice for when I get older and I have to work. I made $24.15 in two days at the cabin. My dad and my grandpa made the sign and then I colored it in. I sold strawberry lemonade and put lemons and strawberries in it. Next time I’m going to sell dog treats too becuse everyone that walks around the lake has a dog with them. With my money I’m going to buy some things for the family and then I get to go to Toys “R” Us with my dad and buy whatever I want.

For the longest time (until about the age of 4, I pronounced the word “chocolate” as if it had an extra “L” in it, like this: “chlocolate.”

• Look! I’m a cow! We filled gloves with flour at school and they were all mushy. Then I decided to do this:
