I feel like we don’t get too many opportunities to go to weddings any more, so it was nice to take part. Jenette has worked with Lisa at CDI for many years and was the program director at Robert Fite Elementary where Emily attended Kindergarten and first grade. It was difficult to tell if Jenette was happy during the ceremony because she ALWAYS has that smile on her face!

Two new cyclists, tons of success

Patrick made it through a whole ride without crashing yesterday (after laying it down in the dirt on Friday) and Lisa took her new road bike out with us and achieved her personal goal of 20 miles on her first ride! Proud of both of you!

Today was all about the ocean. We barely left the house except to walk to the fishing pier and back, and chose instead to spend our time on the beach. The surf that had been extraordinarily high for the last few days-even prompting a weather warning of 6-12 foot waves-had subsided.
